Conservation Travel Africa was established to restore Africa’s wildlife and wild areas to their previous abundance and to re-establish areas where communities and wildlife can live and prosper side-by-side. To ensure a value is placed on conservation and wildlife protection, communities need to be educated, aware and supportive and part of the work we do is through community development - an educated and productive workforce is one which can afford to care about the environment and wildlife around them.
We believe that working with children is the best place to begin securing a future for Zimbabwe and so we work with partner organisations who have already set up children’s homes, orphanages and street children projects and send volunteers to help them continue their valuable work.
If you are interested in making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children, then Conservation Travel Africa will have a programme for you! We have opportunities to volunteer in the area of Childcare, Orphanage Programmes, Teaching Programmes, Wildlife Conservation and Building and Maintenance Projects.
